Wavelength:
Diverse cell types in the body all have their own light absorption characteristics or chromophores; that is, each type of tissue will absorb light at a specific wavelength -- not all wavelengths.
Researchers, like Dr. Tina Karu, have identify specific wavelengths that best effect chromophores on the following tissue
